Continuous Positive Airway Pressure (CPAP)

Continuous Positive Airway Pressure (CPAP) is a respiratory therapy using a machine that produces mild air pressure to keep the airways open and oxygen flowing when the patient inhales. The CPAP machine blows air into a tube connected to a mask that fits over the patient’s nose or nose and mouth. The breathing mask is held comfortably in place with straps. A CPAP is typically used by people who have breathing disorders, such as sleep apnea.

CPAP has also been known to be used to treat preterm infants with respiratory distress syndrome, bronchopulmonary dysplasia or infants whose lungs have not fully developed.

Bilevel Positive Airway Pressure (BiPAP)

Bilevel Positive Airway Pressure (BiPAP) is a respiratory therapy machine similar to a CPAP machine. BiPAP is a non-invasive form of therapy for patients suffering from sleep apnea. The BiPAP machine has separate settings for inhaling (ipap) and exhaling (epap), that allow the patient to easily breathe more air in and out of the lungs.

Some BiPAP machines have the ability to measure the optimal number of breaths per minute the patient should be taking, and prompt the patient to breathe if the time between breaths exceeds the set limit.

    CPAP Masks

CPAP Masks, also referred to as Sleep Apena Masks, are part of a continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP) system that delivers compressed air to a patient.

    CPAP Humidifier

Just by doing the job that our noses usually perform on their own, a CPAP humidifier helps you avoid dry mouth along with dry nose, and nose bleeds

  • CPAP Air Tubing

CPAP hoses and tubing are a critical component of sleep apnea therapy, serving as the connection between the CPAP mask and CPAP machine.

    CPAP Air Filter

CPAP filters are designed to remove dust, mold, and other impurities from the air you breathe as part of your CPAP therapy. There are: reusable filters, disposable filters, and bacteria filters.

    Humidifier Water Chamber

The water chamber is the storage tank for the humidifier water reservoir. The humidifier chamber must be replaced every six months,
